\n\tProposée par le Comité olympique hongrois en février, l'idée a fini par convaincre le maire de Budapest, Istvan Tarlos, et sera soumise au vote du conseil le 23 juin, a-t-il été précisé.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tLe 7 mai, une délégation hongroise avait été reçue au siège du CIO à Lausanne pour une "phase de discussions" préalable à une éventuelle candidature.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tLes villes candidates ont jusqu'au 15 septembre pour déposer leur dossier. Boston (Etats-Unis), Hambourg (Allemagne) et Rome sont déjà officiellement candidates et le Conseil de Paris a donné son feu vert pour que la capitale française en fasse autant.\n<\/p>\n
