\n\tColeman est né et a vécu au Texas (sud) mais il est mort à New York, où il a fait l’essentiel de sa carrière. Son album de 1959 «The Shape of Jazz to Come» est considéré comme l’un des premiers albums avant-gardiste de l’histoire du jazz\n<\/p>\n
