\n\tJerry Seinfeld (61 ans) se produit régulièrement dans des salles du monde entier mais il n'avait pas encore effectué de résidence dans un lieu en particulier. "Les humoristes sont en quête d'endroits +vivants+.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tLe Beacon est cette salle pour moi et je suis vraiment enthousiaste à l'idée d'en faire ma nouvelle maison", a commenté Jerry Seinfeld, dans un communiqué publié mardi.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tSitué dans le quartier d'Upper West Side à Manhattan, le Beacon Theater compte 2.800 places.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tIl appartient au groupe The Madison Square Garden Company, qui possède également le Madison Square Garden et le Radio City Music Hall, deux salles mythiques de New York.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tLe Madison Square Garden accueille depuis décembre 2013 le chanteur américain Billy Joel, qui se produit en résidence tous les mois.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tSon compteur affiche 23 concerts mensuels à ce jour, tous complets.\n<\/p>\n
\n\tL'artiste new-yorkais détient le record de représentations au "Garden", où il a déjà joué 69 fois au total. Billy Joel (Bronx) et Jerry Seinfeld (Brooklyn) sont tous deux natifs de New York et ont toujours tous deux revendiqué leur attachement à cette ville.\n<\/p>\n
